This material looks like a thin wood base, with adhesive vinyl and painted top surface. The base color pathway pieces are great. I'm a bit disappointed that upright iconic figures aren't double sided with painted details...front face it wow, but backside is dull as you move beyond the pieces. There are NO balloons in Candyland.

I actually found his style quite pleasing to watch. It didn't look as frenetic/tense as some champion dancers get these days. But he's also performing here, not competing, so he's not about to go out at 110% as you'd do at Worlds.

This gentlemen was an amazing teacher. Even watching this video reminds me that teachers just aren't like this anymore. His ability to connect with students is just amazing. I'm 40 years old and I still credit and think of this man and the man he mentions in the video, Ralph Amelio, as two architects of who I am today.

TBH: I don't think hes good just bc not a lot of boys compete for Irish step and all the other boys could be on a lower level. He didn't even put in a lot of effort or energy. You could expect a one time winner to have way much more energy then he had. Even someone who never won worlds but placed top 10 could put more energy and effort. My point is he's not even good.

FYI for everyone......just looking at the floor....it looks like those kid gym mats from like maybe a gymnastics or gym that would have the kids foam pits or trampolines in them, hope it helps, but you can use those colored puzzle foam peices too from like walmart or any baby store i would think.
